The Presence of Loss installation includes hundreds of words representing things lost to individuals and communities. These words were gathered during classroom visits, at community gatherings and via mail-in postcards.

10 Years + Counting
2010 - 2011

10 YEARS + COUNTING is a community-based, multi-city series of exhibitions, events, and educational opportunities scheduled to occur on and around Octobet 7, 2011, the 10 year anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Afghanistan - and the ten year anniversary of our nation at war.

The project hopes to expose the true cost of war and foster discussion about what has become the “new normal” for our country.
